DESCRIPTION
The abs begin to engage when you tilt your pelvis upward. A more challenging variation is to raise your legs to the bar. The main mistake that nearly all beginners encounter is swinging during the exercise. Therefore, if possible, brace yourself with your feet against the floor. Nuances and mistakes 1. The simplest variation is to bend your knees and pull them upward. You don’t need any special athletic preparation to do this, but this method engages the abs very little. 2. A slightly more challenging variation is to pull your knees to your chest while also tilting your pelvis upward. This engages your entire core. The higher you tilt your pelvis, the better. 3. The most difficult variation involves raising slightly bent legs to the bar. This places more emphasis on the lower abs. 4. Regardless of which variation you choose, do not assist with your arms. Keep your arms straight and relaxed, like ropes. Remember, your goal is to work your abs, not to perform a sit-up with a twist. 5. You can also try not to fully lower your legs. This method will keep your abs under constant tension, allowing for a more intense workout. 6. Additionally, you can pull your knees not just straight up, but also to the left and right. This will also engage the oblique muscles. I personally don't see much benefit in this variation, but many people enjoy it. ANALOGUES
