Leg adductions with a low pulleyVIDEO
FOR BEGINNERS
For men: 10 - 15 repetitions (on each leg) of 10 - 15 kg. 2 - 3 sets. For women: 10 - 15 repetitions (on each leg) of 5 - 10 kg. 2 - 3 sets. LOAD ON MUSCLES
DESCRIPTION
You should slightly overlap the working leg over the supporting leg, meaning bringing it slightly behind the support leg. This will provide additional contraction for the muscles. The working leg should remain straight. Nuances and mistakes 1. This exercise can be done either with the low pulley in a crossover machine or with the "pendulum" machine, both standing or seated. However, I believe that the most effective option is to perform it standing in the crossover machine. 2. You should overlap the working leg slightly with the support leg, meaning you should bring the working leg slightly behind it. This will increase the range of motion. 3. You need to extend the leg fully. The farther you stretch, the better. It’s important to maximize the stretch of the inner thigh muscles, but do this smoothly and without jerking. 4. Throughout the entire exercise, the leg should remain straight. 5. Choose a weight that allows you to perform at least 10 repetitions. The inner thigh is relatively easy to injure with heavy weights because such loads are unfamiliar to it. 6. Remember, this exercise does not burn fat in that part of the thighs; it simply trains the muscles in that area. ANALOGUES
