DESCRIPTION
It is not necessary to lift your torso all the way up. Your task is to twist as much as possible. Bent legs allow the abs to contract more strongly. Therefore, this variation is harder to perform than with straight legs. Nuances and Mistakes 1. When your legs are elevated, the abs fatigue more quickly and intensely. The abs are already in a slightly shortened position when you bend your legs at the hip joints. Thus, this variation is a bit more challenging than if your legs were lying on the floor. 2. If you lower yourself completely and touch your shoulder blades to the floor, the range of motion will be maximal. However, this makes it easier, and you will be able to perform more repetitions. In this case, the abs will rest at the lowest point. This is neither good nor bad; it depends on personal preference. 3. You can hold the weight (e.g., a weight plate) either on your chest or behind your head. It's easier on the chest, and harder behind the head. 4. Try to twist as much as possible, as if you want to touch your knees with your forehead. 5. This exercise is well suited for home conditions. However, it has one drawback: the range of motion is quite short. Some may say that this range is sufficient for the abs. Basically, yes. But I have always preferred exercises with a greater range of motion. ANALOGUES
