LOAD ON MUSCLES
DESCRIPTION

The goal is not to lean all the way down but to twist. All exercises for the rectus abdominis are based on twisting! As an option, you can hold the handle in front of your forehead or use straps instead of the handle.

Nuances and Mistakes

1. The main feature of this exercise is that you won't be able to fully straighten your back (the cable won't allow it). Therefore, the abs always remain in a contracted state. On one hand, this increases the load on the abs; on the other hand, it leads to quick fatigue.

2. You shouldn’t move too far from the pulley; half a meter is the maximum. Otherwise, the cable will pull you forward.

3. You can perform this exercise with straps or a solid handle. The handle is usually held behind the head. You can also perform it while kneeling or sitting on a bench, depending on your preference.

4. You won't be able to use a heavy weight for this exercise, as too much weight will pull you upward, making it uncomfortable to perform. Therefore, this exercise is not for those who like to lift heavy weights.

5. To enhance the effect, you can pause for a second at the lowest point. You don't need to straighten all the way.
