FOR BEGINNERS
For men: 10 - 15 repetitions 5 - 8 kg (each dumbbell). 2 - 3 sets. For women: 10 - 15 repetitions 2 - 4 kg (each dumbbell). 2 - 3 sets. LOAD ON MUSCLES
DESCRIPTION
It's best to lean your body down to almost parallel to the floor. Extend your arm fully as usual. Perform this exercise at the end of your workout when you have little energy left, but you need to thoroughly exhaust the muscles. This exercise should primarily be used as an auxiliary movement and only after foundational triceps exercises. Nuances and Mistakes 1. You can perform this exercise with one arm or both. When using one arm, you can lift slightly heavier weights since only one arm is working, and you can support yourself with the free hand. 2. The torso should be angled slightly above parallel to the floor. It is crucial not to swing your body during the movement. 3. If you are using both arms (without support from a bench), your knees should be slightly bent. 4. Your arm (from the shoulder to the elbow) should be parallel to the floor and fixed in place. Keep your elbow tucked in close to your body. 5. To avoid swinging your arm, it's important to pause slightly at the top and bottom of the movement. Your arm should be fully extended. 6. The weight of the dumbbells should be such that you can perform at least 10 repetitions. 7. Alternatively, you can do this exercise on the crossover machine with the lower pulley. The principle remains the same; however, the triceps will experience a uniform load throughout the entire range of motion. ANALOGUES
