Some people think that exercising is boring. In the classic sense, it may be so, but when it comes to fitness programs that include dance or martial arts elements, this is far from the truth. A burst of energy and a great mood are guaranteed in such workouts.

Dance Mix

As the name suggests, this fitness direction represents a mix of different dance styles. The program for each session is unique, allowing anyone to join the sports-dance process at any stage. As a result of intense workouts, not only does the body get toned and lose excess weight, but one also develops a sense of rhythm, grace, and fluidity.

Dance mix is contraindicated for those with a high degree of obesity, as well as those with heart and vascular problems.

Strip Dance

Strip dance is a mix of gymnastics, acrobatics, and dance. The main aim of this style is to celebrate the beauty of the female form and foster self-love. Despite its seemingly provocative nature, this fitness practice requires strong muscles and good flexibility, as many balances need to be maintained in mid-air.

Regular training contributes to body toning and awakening sensuality, thanks to energetic music and seductive movements. Nevertheless, some elements of strip training can be quite injury-prone.

Zumba Fitness

Zumba fitness was born from the harmonious combination of vibrant dance and aerobics. Training in this style boosts spirits and tones all muscles.

Zumba fitness promotes overall endurance, weight loss, and normalizes respiratory system function. It is contraindicated for heart diseases and any issues with the legs or spine.

Step Aerobics

Step aerobics consists of a series of exercises performed using a special platform called a step. Various combinations of steps, jumps, descents, and ascents are performed to rhythmic music.

Step workouts help in shaping the glutes, thighs, legs, and waist. They are also excellent for heart and vascular training.

Step aerobics has a fairly wide range of contraindications, including hypertension, heart diseases, kidney problems, varicose veins, and spinal diseases.

Capoeira

Capoeira is a martial art without strikes. It replaces them with beautiful movements, jumps, and kicks, resembling a lively dance. This "combat choreography" promotes the development of "animal" flexibility, but it requires a considerable amount of time and effort.

Since capoeira is essentially a unique acrobatic technique, it is best avoided if you have any issues with your knees or back.

Tai Bo

This fitness system combines elements of Eastern martial arts, strength training, and aerobic exercise. A standard tai bo workout consists of a dance warm-up, powerful punches at an imaginary opponent, and stretching. Light dumbbells are often used as weights.

Tai bo positively impacts coordination and body flexibility. Additionally, regular practice enhances immune system function and the health of the heart and blood vessels.

The very active pace of these workouts can be challenging for beginners, so tai bo should only be approached after the body has been conditioned. This type of fitness is contraindicated for spinal issues.

Training in a dynamic dance-martial rhythm will definitely help tone the body, and as a pleasant bonus, it will lift your spirits and energize you for a long time.
