Facebuilding is fitness for the face that is becoming popular in Russia. Let’s explore the main questions that arise for beginners in this field. What is Facebuilding? The word “facebuilding” literally means “building the face.” It comes from the combination of the words face and building in English. The author of this technique is Dr. Reinhard Benz, a German facial plastic surgeon and specialist in facial muscles. He developed these exercises for a ballerina he admired for many years. As she aged, her body remained just as beautiful without change due to constant physical activity, but her face aged. This disharmony in her appearance made Benz think... Thus, the first facebuilding exercises were born. Since then, Benz's method has been refined by specialists from various countries. Today, there are many techniques that help train the facial muscles. With the Help of Facebuilding, You Can:
How to Train Facial Muscles and Which Program to Choose?A brief overview of the facial muscles: on the face, muscles have one fixed point, unlike body muscles (which have two fixed points). Tightly attached at one end, the other end of the muscle intertwines with another muscle or attaches to the skin or a specific part of the face. Thanks to this structure of facial muscles, we have expressions and can move our lips, eyes, raise our eyebrows, and more. 1. Therefore, when starting the training process, the end of the muscle without a fixed attachment must be properly secured using your hands. In simple terms, you need to press it down, and only then can you load the muscle. 2. Some facial muscles may be spasmed. Therefore, you need to relax them before working on them. 3. During the exercises, new wrinkles, folds, or creases should not appear. There should also be no painful sensations in the jaw joints. 4. From the wide variety of programs, choose one that includes exercises with muscle fixation and facial relaxation techniques. At What Age Should You Start Training? You can start at any age; there are no restrictions. Like in sports: the earlier you start, the better. My oldest student is 64 years old. We worked on age-related changes, removing the effects of gravitational ptosis. The youngest is 18 years old, and we corrected facial asymmetry. Where, When, and How to Train?1. The facebuilding method is designed for home use. For training, you only need a mirror on a stand. Place it on a table so you can see your face clearly. Sit up straight without slouching or leaning. Your face should be cleansed of makeup, and your hands should be washed well. 2. You can train in the morning and/or evening. There are exercises that help invigorate the face after waking up and reduce puffiness under the eyes. Accordingly, these should be done in the morning. Some exercises relieve tension from the face; they are more suitable for evening workouts. 3. It is necessary to do a warm-up before training to warm up the facial muscles, and afterward, do a cooldown. 4. For the first month or two, I recommend training every day; during this time, the muscles will tone up and strengthen. After that, 3-4 supportive workouts per week will be sufficient. To Conclude1. Facebuilding is a complex of exercises that helps improve the condition of the muscles and tone the facial muscle framework. Regular training can quite possibly replace surgical plastic surgery and facial rejuvenation through injections. 2. Choose a program that includes exercises with muscle fixation and relaxation techniques. 3. You can start at any age. 4. Pay attention to your posture during training. 5. With the correct technique for performing exercises, you will see results in about 2 weeks. You can ask questions in the comments, and I will respond.
