Gentle (therapeutic) diet for women for weight lossDESCRIPTION

Number of meals: 5 Ratio of Proteins, Fats, and Carbohydrates (grams): 30% | 8% | 62% In my practice as a dietitian, and especially as a gastroenterologist, I often encounter patients who, due to their health conditions, are forced to adhere to a therapeutic diet or a diet called "SD" (gentle diet), which involves various food restrictions, special food selection, and unique culinary processing. Often, gastrointestinal tract diseases are chronic in nature, and patients need to adhere to the "SD" not only during exacerbations but also afterwards as a preventive measure. This is necessary to minimize the number of exacerbations. Below, I have created a therapeutic diet (SD) that can be used by a woman who wants to lose weight but has chronic digestive organ diseases, such as:
This diet is not very strict and is applied when the exacerbation of the disease subsides, when manifestations and symptoms are minimized, as well as during the remission phase. I want to warn that losing weight is not advisable during any disease exacerbation, and this applies not only to gastrointestinal diseases. Why? Because during this period, the body is already struggling: it needs energy for restoration and repair (healing) and should not be deprived of this; otherwise, you could push the already exhausted body into a state of stress and total imbalance. However, this applies not only to nutrition but also to physical activity. Remember: during exacerbations of chronic gastrointestinal diseases and many other body systems, any physical activity, especially heavy ones, is strictly prohibited!!! Now, let's talk directly about the diet. It is designed like a unique calculator where you can enter your personal parameters, type of activity, and the number of workouts per week. You will receive portion sizes for each dish at every meal, along with the calorie count and macronutrients, as well as the total for the day. This is quite convenient. Also, for variety, each dish has alternatives that you can select according to your preferences. Of course, this diet is reference-based and averaged. You can make your own adjustments or order a customized menu using the "order a diet for myself" button located right below this diet. Please note that the frequency of meals and their timing are important to avoid overloading the digestive system. Therefore, in this diet, in addition to three main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), I include two snacks. And don’t forget to drink 1.2 — 1.5 liters of clean water per day. As you can see, everything is quite simple. I hope my article will be useful to you. Wishing you health and beauty!!!
