Hello. My name is Nikita Shilkin. I started working out with weights in 2007 as soon as I found out where the gym was located. It was a basement gym that dated back to the USSR. There was no coach there, and the older guys just sent me to the machines, telling me to do three sets on each. Those workouts didn’t give me anything except a desire to figure out how to train effectively to achieve results, and I wasted almost a year doing that.

I began searching for information in books, asking more experienced athletes to show me proper technique, and diligently keeping a training diary. Gradually, I started incorporating barbell exercises, my strength began to increase, and my muscles grew. Every day, I tried to learn more about training, nutrition, biochemistry, and essentially anything that could help improve my results, and this desire still lives within me today. This approach yielded good results – over the next three years, I gained thirty-five kilograms of muscle without using sports nutrition or steroids, and by the age of nineteen, I had impressive strength in basic exercises and a weight over one hundred kilograms. In 2010, I was invited to train at one of the elite fitness clubs in Tula. That’s how I became a trainer.

Education: Tula State University, Institute of High-Precision Systems, specialization in Energy. Graduated with honors. I have a scientific work, an invention, and a patent.

Coaching Experience: 4 years.

Sports Achievements: Candidate for Master of Sports in Powerlifting.

I managed to meet the Master of Sports standard in classic powerlifting in the category up to 105 kg during training: squat 250 kg, bench press 175 kg, deadlift 265 kg, but shortly before the competitions, I seriously injured my back and couldn't perform at the event.
