Important! We do not advocate for the use of steroids and other potent substances. All information is provided so that those who still decide to take them can do so with minimal health risks.

Anabolic steroids (AAS) were created to combat various ailments. People have almost forgotten the intended purpose of AAS and are concerned that they are used in sports everywhere, even by chess players... But it is worth recalling why they were made. In medicine, they are used to treat:

  1. Burns
  2. Injuries of various kinds
  3. Immunodeficiency
  4. Testosterone deficiency in men (HRT)
  5. To strengthen bones
  6. To prevent stunted growth in children
  7. Osteoporosis
  8. Arthritis
  9. Arthrosis
  10. Osteochondrosis
  11. Impotence
  12. Male menopause
  13. Infertility
  14. Oligospermia
  15. Breast cancer

1. HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) – this condition is characterized by low testosterone levels in men, for its treatment, “testosterone enanthate” or “propionate” are prescribed. This is a vital measure, as testosterone is the main hormone in a man's body, and its decline leads to slow wilting and weakening of the body. It is very important to maintain physiological hormone levels for normal well-being and health.

2. Methandrostenolone. It is used in the treatment of burns, but its use does not end there. It is also used in the treatment of alcoholic hepatitis, diseases associated with diabetes, injuries of different origins, dystrophy, and also in diseases where protein synthesis is impaired. As you can see, its range of applications is very wide.

Human growth hormone (somatotropin) – is a universal hormone and affects cells in the body. HGH is also used in all the cases mentioned above. Its primary application in pediatric medicine is for growth delays. It directly influences height growth at a young age. It does not have such an effect on adults. In adults, the pituitary growth zones close during maturation – this is when bones stop growing in length.

3. Testosterone and its derivatives are generally highly androgenic. It has the ability to convert into estrogens (female sex hormones). They appear in a man's body precisely due to aromatase. In the female body, they are produced by the ovaries. Therefore, in certain diseases such as gynecomastia or breast cancer, medications capable of converting to estrogen are not prescribed. This type of cancer is very sensitive to estrogen, and to suppress it, the estrogen level is reduced, and drugs that are not capable of conversion are taken during various injuries or diseases.

So, in the case of women, testosterone is used in breast cancer treatment because androgens in the female body do not convert to estrogen, unlike in men.

4. Estrogens. By the way, regarding estrogen – the female sex hormone, which is not anabolic, but is important for women. Just like testosterone is crucial for men, it is, as I mentioned before, very important for connective tissue – joints. It, like testosterone, positively influences bone tissue, strengthening it.

Note: Estrogens are just as important in metabolic processes in the male body as they are in the female body; they participate in many physiological processes, and joint and ligament health also depends on them.

In short, practically all diseases begin when the hormonal balance declines, and the body starts to wither, leading to problems with connective tissue, joints, and bones.

Conclusion

Androgenic steroids have side effects, which is quite natural. All drugs and substances have a downside; the question is only how severe the side effects are and how dangerous they are to health. Anabolic steroids have effects (on the kidneys, liver, gastrointestinal tract, skin, and reproductive function).

It is commonly believed that AAS sterilize male testicles, so my advice to you, comrades, is that experimentation is not worth it, and during a cycle, contraceptives should be used, simply put – condoms, or else an unexpected pregnancy from your partner can come as a surprise to you.

In general, the moral is this: do not believe everything that sketchy individuals write. Because of characters like these who mislead people, situations arise – like unexpected pregnancies.
