Many athletes and fitness enthusiasts have surely asked themselves the question: "Are there medications nearly as effective as 'anabolics' but without side effects?" And many have likely heard of a substance called Ecdysterone, which is based on a compound known as ecdysten.

Ecdysten is a natural steroidal structure compound extracted from the roots and rhizomes of the Leuzea safflower. Ecdysten has been used in sports since the mid-20th century. However, it was only recently that scientists learned to isolate in pure form what every athlete needs – ecdysten. Its main feature is that this substance structurally resembles anabolic steroids but is not banned by WADA (the World Anti-Doping Agency).

Ecdysten, like "anabolics," enhances protein synthesis in the body, increases performance, and speeds up recovery after physical exertion. For an athlete, this means they can train longer, recover faster, and more quickly increase their strength and muscle mass. Additionally, ecdysten has a powerful antioxidant effect. Due to its similarity to androgens, ecdysten possesses many of the properties of anabolic steroids but lacks the side effects typically associated with them. Specifically, it does not suppress the production of one's own testosterone; rather, it promotes the production of natural testosterone since it is not pure testosterone.

Due to these unique properties, Ecdysterone is widely used not only by professional athletes but also by beginners and enthusiasts who are not chasing world records but simply want to improve their physique and enhance its appearance. It can be confidently stated that Ecdysterone is one of the most effective substances available today that does not fall under the category of doping.

Since Ecdysterone has virtually no contraindications and is not classified as doping, you can find this substance in many sports stores and pharmacies. Personally, I like these ecdysterone products:

For those who might not know, the active substance in the Leuzea extract is ecdysterone. Therefore, they are the same.
