Psychotic and Psychotic Gold from the brand Insane Labz have established themselves as worthy pre-workout complexes. They can be categorized as those products that make your body crave a fight. Using them, you can achieve not only brutal energy and the desire to train as if the end of the world is tomorrow but also stable muscle growth, pump, and focus.

Psychotic was released earlier by Insane Labz. Psychotic Gold is its later and more powerful version. It does not contain creatine and huperzine but is enriched with agmatine and citrulline for a pump. It additionally includes OxyGold – a source of fulvic acid, which is necessary to maintain a healthy electrolyte balance and helps avoid the leaching of minerals.

Differences in Composition

To visually demonstrate the differences in the compositions of these two legendary pre-workouts, here is a table:

Component Psychotic Psychotic Gold
Beta-Alanine + +
Creatine Monohydrate + -
Anhydrous Caffeine + +
AMPiberry™ + +
Hordenine HCL + -
Dimethylaminoethanol + +
Rauwolfia + +
Huperzine + -
L-Citrulline Malate - +
Agmatine Sulfate - +
OxyGold - +

The supplements are taken the same way — half a scoop should be dissolved in 200-300 ml of water and consumed half an hour before training.

If you have never used pre-workouts before, pay attention to Psychotic — it works a bit milder. Experienced users can choose their pre-workout stack at their discretion.

Reviews on Pre-Workouts

Review of Classic Psychotic

"I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The results are unreal. Just make sure to eat well in the evening. And in the morning, drink it 40 minutes before the workout. During training, breathing is free, and the heart works great. You can hardly notice shortness of breath. I've tried so many energy drinks, but 'Psychotic' really takes you to another level. I also take mild stimulants with L-carnitine, and it’s all good."

Review of Psychotic Gold

"This is really a 'high' for training. It doesn't pump too strong, but you can resolve that by adding AAKG or pump agents. However, the focus and mood are simply out of this world; it's a state of wild happiness, and it works for a long time. I can't get tired from it, unlike many other equally worthy pre-workouts. There’s no crash at all, it just gradually lets go and that's it. But there's one thing, it might sound strange, but the Orange flavor is the strongest; I have all three flavors, and they differ slightly in effect.

The Candy flavor is the lightest for some reason and the most pungent, but it tastes pleasant; the heart doesn't race much, it's a soft yet strong stimulation. Fruit Punch has a faint pleasant smell, like Orange, and it works stronger, but the most potent one is the Orange flavor, which makes my heart leap with joy and it hits harder. Once again, I’ll say it's strange, but it's a fact. Also, it’s significantly better than the classic Psychotic with the red lid, which I didn’t like, while this gold one is just a bomb."
