Important! We do not advocate for the use of steroids and other potent substances. All information is provided so that those who still decide to take them can do so with minimal health risks.

Not denying the obvious—namely, the fact that by following all aspects of success in bodybuilding (nutrition/training/adhering to a daily routine), sports nutrition products (not all) work in reality—I am still a proponent of pharmacology. It is cheaper, simpler, and, most importantly, more effective. In any case, no one forbids you from combining the recommendations obtained here with sports nutrition. This way, the results will only improve.

In this article, I will share my personal experience of sporadic (case-by-case) use of certain synthetic substances that can significantly ease the athletic life.

But let’s clarify this right away. Such experiments are meant to help advanced-level athletes using AAS. As for those who are just getting acquainted with the wonderful world of androgens and anabolic steroids, it’s better for them to postpone such antics. The less pharmacology you rely on at the initial stage, the better you will respond to it in the future. This is an axiom.

Pre-Workout

1. To get in the mood for heavy training, a drug like Piracetam can be helpful. Vitamin B12 injections can also serve this purpose. The dosage for Piracetam is about 400-800 mg, and for B12, it's 3 mcg (one ampoule). Both should be taken 60-45 minutes before the training begins. The same B12 can act as a great energy booster, especially before aerobic activity.

2. Another decent energy source is a drug like ATP. It comes in two forms: tablets and an injectable solution. Forget about the tablets. Injections are significantly more effective. The dosage is one or two ampoules (10-20 mg) taken one to one and a half hours before the training begins. And remember, to avoid pain at the injection site, the drug should be administered very slowly.

3. Sodium benzoate caffeine. Without a doubt, in terms of activating the CNS and providing an energy boost, few can argue with it. However, there are two caveats. First, this drug can significantly raise blood pressure. Second, caffeine slows glycogen synthesis, which means that recovery after training may take longer. The dosage is 200-300 mg taken one hour before working out in the gym.

4. A VERY effective way to enhance endurance, including strength endurance, is the peptide TV-500. The dosage is 2 mg (one vial) taken in the morning after breakfast on training days, especially if the session is planned for lunch. If you train in the evening, follow the same protocol but take it after lunch.

5. If you use BCAAs during training (especially in large amounts), Metformin will be a huge help. This medication guarantees that most of the amino acids taken will not become a source of energy but will go directly into muscle fibers. Naturally, if your goal in taking BCAAs (although such a desire can be called wasteful) is strictly energy for training, then there's no need to swallow Metformin. The dosage is 1000-1500 mg taken one to one and a half hours before training.

6. Dexamethasone, at a dosage of 0.5 mg (1 tablet), taken 40-60 minutes before training, is intended to reduce cortisol release during exercise.

7. Actovegin and Clenbuterol will significantly increase blood flow to the muscles during training. They can be used together. The dosage for Actovegin is 2-3 ml (be sure to buy the injectable version; tablets are ineffective). For Clenbuterol, take one tablet (40 mcg). Both should be taken 40-60 minutes before training begins.

8. Lastly, one of my favorite non-hormonal medications is Mildronate. In addition to its many beneficial qualities (and there are quite a few), it helps to tolerate physical stress more easily and exerts a stimulating effect on the CNS. A dosage in the range of 500-1000 mg (usually 1-2 capsules) should be taken 1.5-2 hours before training. Capsules are more effective in the case of Mildronate.

Except for TV-500 and Clenbuterol, all other medications can be easily purchased at pharmacies. Where to buy the first two, I believe everyone already knows.

Post-Workout

1. The main goal after training is to prevent the onset of catabolic processes, initiate anabolism, and achieve faster recovery. For these purposes, immediately after training, you should take a second tablet of Dexamethasone (0.5 mg).

2. Athletes who are familiar with Insulin can inject 8-10 units of fast-acting insulin immediately after showering. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE INJECTION, drink a post-workout cocktail containing 50-60 grams of whey protein and 10 grams of fast-acting carbohydrates (dextrose or fructose) for each unit of insulin administered (i.e., if you injected 8 units of insulin, you need to consume 80 grams of carbs). But I warn you, this recipe is extremely unsafe, as insulin immediately after training can be particularly dangerous.

3. An injection of testosterone suspension (50 mg) right after finishing in the gym is much safer and will quickly initiate anabolic/anticatabolic/recovery processes.

4. Ideally, immediately after training, take 2-3 grams of vitamin C. It effectively deals with free radicals (the waste products that form during intense training).

Everything I have listed in this article does not mean that you must drop everything at work and rush to the pharmacy or contact your dealer online. Try, combine, experiment. Find the means that suit you best, and you WILL find them. The key is not to be afraid of testing. This sport consists of trials and errors. That’s what makes it interesting. That's all. Stay healthy.
