Personally, I am not a fan of dedicating an entire workout just for abs. However, there are fanatics out there. So, especially for them, I have put together this separate workout for the abs. However, I do not advise doing it more than once a week. In fact, after such a workout, you may not need to train your abs again for a week. If you are not used to it, your abs will hurt for a long time after this workout. Additionally, during squats and deadlifts, the abs function as stabilizing muscles.

In addition to the abs, you will also train your oblique muscles. You will need to do the "plank" for the maximum time three times, but no longer than 2 minutes at a time. Furthermore, this complex is intended only for experienced athletes and is suitable for both men and women.

One small nuance: it's better to train your abdominal muscles on a semi-empty stomach, especially for this workout since there are many twists involved. A lot of twists! So, are you ready? Let's go!

Rest between supersets is 2-3 minutes. For those who are not familiar, what a superset is – let me explain. You perform a leg raise while hanging for 1 set, and then immediately, without resting, you do 1 set of crunches lying on the bench. After that, rest for 3 minutes. Then you repeat everything again until you've completed a total of 3 of these paired sets. After that, you move on to the next pair of exercises.

Overall, the workout is quite short. At most, it lasts 60 minutes. After it, you can do some cardio, or you can choose not to do anything. It’s up to you. Additionally, you can use extra weights for almost all exercises. And remember, it's not the exercises that create a defined set of abs, but rather your diet. Good luck!
