From time to time, manufacturers make changes to the compositions of their products. Sometimes, it can be difficult to track whether your favorite supplement's composition has remained the same.

Geranium is loved for its:

• being an excellent energizer;
• promoting the breakdown of fat deposits;
• increasing overall performance;
• facilitating focus;
• reducing appetite.

How is geranium listed in the composition?

It is labeled in various ways. The most common names include:

• 1,3-Dimethylamylamine,
• Methylhexamine,
• Methylhexanamine,
• DMAA,
• 2-amino-4-methylhexane,
• geranamine,
• Geranaburn.

Below, we have provided a list of pre-workouts that contain geranium and are still available for sale in online and brick-and-mortar stores.

Intel Pharma Arez Black

The pre-workout Arez Intel Pharma still contains geranium in its composition. It is labeled as DMAA (1,3-Dimethylamylamine). Each serving contains 25-50 mg of this component, with a total of 25 servings (50 servings if taking one scoop). In addition, the composition includes:

• caffeine
• ephedra extract
• synephrine
• laxogenin
• arginine
• citrulline and other components.

You shouldn't confuse this pre-workout with other versions of Arez in white cans, which are sold exclusively in the USA. Those do not contain DMAA. In Russia, there is one representative of Inte Pharma (Ntel Pharma), and all supplies are conducted through it, which eliminates the risk of counterfeit products.

An interesting fact is that each flavor of this pre-workout has its own label color. For example, apple is green, blackberry is blue, and sour gummy bears have an orange hue.

300 Labz Glory Juice

This is a new pre-workout that was released at the end of 2018. Overall, it resembles the old Jack 3D in its composition. However, now on the market, there are only counterfeits of Jack3D University Studied (this version has not been produced since 2013). New products and brands are rarely counterfeited.

The product contains 45 servings. The composition includes creatine, arginine, anhydrous caffeine, and other components. Geranium is listed as 1,3-Dimethylamylamine in the ingredient profile.

Hell Labs Popolam

Reviews for the pre-workout Popolam Hell Labs are mixed. Some dislike the effect, while others find it incredibly effective. Such varied reviews are expected for a good pre-workout.

This is one of the most potent formulations in recent years. The composition is simple but contains very powerful components:

• geranium (labeled as DMAA HCl),
• AMP Citrate (a geranium analogue banned in the USA),
• DMHA (another geranium analogue),
• arginine,
• beta-alanine,
• L-theanine,
• caffeine, and other components.

Red Labs Red 3D

This pre-workout also has one of the strongest formulations, largely due to the presence of a combination of two stimulants: geranium (listed as 1,3 Dimethylamylamine) and DMHA.

The composition includes: anhydrous caffeine, synephrine, citrulline, beta-alanine, and other standard pre-workout components.

In terms of composition, it is similar to the pre-workouts from Gold Star. However, when purchasing pre-workouts from Gold Star, you need to be careful, as they do not always contain DMAA. In some versions, this component may be absent. In contrast, Red 3D from Red Labs has only one formulation, which definitely includes geranium. Therefore, you cannot go wrong with this pre-workout.

Red Labs Punisher

This pre-workout also contains geranium, labeled as Geranaburn. Additionally, unlike Red 3D, the composition is enhanced with an ephedra extract, with 50 mg per serving.

Aggressive Labs Hellnox

This is a new brand that appeared in 2018 and is rarely available in Russia. The package contains only 25 servings (instead of the standard 30 for pre-workouts). However, the composition is significantly different from a standard pre-workout.

Its composition includes:

1. Geranium, which allows for longer training sessions: 75 mg per serving (very high dosage). Listed as 1,3-Dimethylamylamine.
2. Nootropics Noopept and Alpha GPC to enhance focus during workouts.
3. Tribulus Terrestris to support testosterone levels.
4. A vitamin matrix (B3, B6, and B12) for normalizing CNS function.

Hell Labs DMAA

This is encapsulated geranium. It contains 75 mg per serving and is labeled as DMAA HCL. Aside from geranium, there is nothing else in the composition.

This would be suitable for you if:

1. You have a pre-workout that does not contain DMAA, and you want to enhance it.
2. You feel that your pre-workout is too weak and want more stimulation during training.
3. You need an inexpensive and effective stimulant.

Which pre-workouts containing geranium are outdated?

We will not mention completely obsolete supplements from the distant past when geranium was just starting to be added to pre-workouts. This list includes only the supplements that have changed their formulations in recent years.

1. The APS company changed the composition of the popular pre-workout Mesomorph in 2016. Since then, it should no longer contain geranium in the original product. This can be verified by writing to the official brand page on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Geranium was replaced with a derivative of synephrine and PEA alkaloids. To protect against counterfeiting, they added engravings on the cap (see the video).

2. Dust Extreme by Blackstone Labs previously contained a dosage of geranium at 75 mg per serving. However, this product was discontinued in 2016-2017 due to complaints from U.S. regulators about the brand. The product was re-released without geranium and under the new name Dust X.

3. Genone Old Jack also removed DMAA from its composition a long time ago. In the original versions, Old Jack v2 and Old Jack Extreme no longer contain geranium. However, they replaced it with effective components. For example, Old Jack Extreme includes PEA alkaloids, just like Mesomorph.
