Nutrition for fitness bikini is a delicate matter because you need to stay in shape almost year-round. In this category, it's essential not to overindulge, as you risk gaining too much weight, which is undesirable. But losing weight during the off-season is also not an option, as you won’t be able to reach the desired condition.

Therefore, we must keep ourselves in check, monitor our diet, count calories, and control the composition of our meals. For this, we need to equip ourselves with a calorie counter and kitchen scales, so we can accurately manage our nutrition down to the gram. As I mentioned earlier, we must avoid overeating.

So, during the off-season, any excess fat should not exceed 4-5 kilograms, and sometimes even less. But don’t worry, you can get used to it, including this schedule, especially when there is a goal and motivation to become better.

What Can Be Eaten

What can we eat in fitness bikini? The diet is somewhat limited compared to others, and there are few pleasures in it. But we are special, right? Regular nutrition doesn’t suit us. We need nutrition that only the best can handle.

1. We can eat fish, any kind. Beef and rabbit are also allowed, as well as calamari, shrimp, and mussels. Crabs, crayfish, and even rapana can be consumed. In general, all seafood is acceptable, except for fatty fish. Chicken and turkey, of course, should be part of our diet.

2. And what’s a diet without grains? Grains are allowed too. Rice, buckwheat, and we can even treat ourselves to legumes or wheat groats. For those who don’t know, when there are restrictions on what you can eat, wheat groats are just excellent. Lentils and chickpeas also fit well into our list. We can even include a bit of nuts in our diet. Nuts of any variety are okay, but no more than 100 grams per day.

3. Don’t forget about vegetables and fruits; all of them can be eaten. The more varied our food, the better, because it is beneficial. Oh, and we can have pasta made from whole grains, but in moderation, around 100 to 200 grams per day. Low-fat cottage cheese is also allowed.

4. Tea and coffee are permissible. Both brewed and instant coffee can be consumed. Instead of sugar, we use a sugar substitute or fructose. Juices from oranges or pomegranates are also okay. It’s advisable to count the calories from juices as well.

What Not to Eat

1. We should avoid foods that harm our digestion and those with a high glycemic index. It’s important not to eat too much cabbage, as it tends to ferment in the stomach and can lead to bloating.

2. It's best to forget about fried foods or limit their quantity to a minimum. By "fried," I mean any products that can be fried, as they gain additional calories from the oil. Additionally, frying changes the protein structure in food, which can be detrimental to your figure.

3. We should not consume fatty foods and excessive egg yolks. It’s also advisable to avoid drinking and eating dairy products with a high fat content. The amount of fat in products should be minimal.

4. Excess salt and salty products should be limited. You should also avoid pork and lamb because they are quite fatty. Additionally, it’s best to forget about refined flour and first-grade pasta. Sweets should also be off-limits! However, if you must have something sweet, you can eat 100 grams of anything in the morning, replacing one meal with it and incorporating it into your overall calorie intake.

How Many Calories Are Needed to Maintain Weight

Caloric intake is an individual matter for each of us. Some need more, some less, so you can use the daily calorie expenditure calculator to find your number.

On average, to maintain your weight, you need to consume between 2000 and 2500 calories (this figure is approximate and may vary). If you want to gain a little weight, simply increase your caloric intake slightly, and you will start to gain weight.

Which Sports Supplements to Use

Most importantly, don’t forget about sports nutrition, as it will help us stay afloat and achieve our goals while preserving our muscles and strength. It will also help us recover faster, as our regime requires. You will need:

Description and principles of action can be found in the links attached to the names of the products. There’s also a list of the best sports supplements worth taking.
